The Patient Information Centre, Wrightington Hospital
We joined the project team led by Conibear Design Associates as specialist scriptwriters for this interesting project.
The Patient Information Centre was the first of its kind in the UK. It used interpretation techniques to communicate information about joint replacement surgery to patients and their carers.
Out text was crafted to meet the needs of two distinct groups identified by medical staff: 'inquisitive' patients who want all the details of what will happen and 'intuitive' patients who are more concerned about how they will feel.
