Getting people talking about the Churnet Valley

Interpretation was a relatively small part of this ambitious and wide-ranging Landscape Partnership Scheme which focused largely on repairing and improving landscape features, habitats and access and included considerable work on and near canals.

We helped the Partnership publicise its work through a recently launched website and a leaflet for local people.

This work included interviewing all delivery partners about their projects at an advanced stage of the project.  This not only produced an audio archive of the project but also highlighted how, through working together, diverse organisations had forged mutual understanding and a real partnership.

Thanks to Dan Boys of AudioTrails, Steve Wood of Waymark, John Conibear of CDA, Kev Percival and Mike Ritchie for their help on this project.
