The AHI has launched a new awards scheme recognising high quality heritage interpretation in the UK and Ireland.

After a pause of a decade the AHI (Association for Heritage Interpretation) has launched a new award scheme recognising high quality heritage interpretation in the UK and Ireland. http://www.ahi.org.uk/www/awards/

Susan Cross and James Carter, both fellows of the AHI, ran two days training for the judges. The training involved using the Institute of Sexology Exhibition at the Welcome Institute.

The judging panel will review all entrants and shortlist up to three entries for each category.

The judges were shown how to assess sites and write reports.

Once site judges have visited and assessed shortlisted entries, the panel will meet to choose the winner for each category and the overall recipient of the AHI Award for Excellence in Interpretation.
