We were pleased to work closely with Shropshire County Council on a county wide strategy about using interpretation to develop cultural tourism.
This document recognised the importance of interpretation in building ‘pride of place’ for local people and a ‘sense of place’ for visitors.
It highlighted the wide range of individuals and organisations who are involved in creating successful heritage visits.
We worked closely with local people to produce two visitor centres that reveal island life, human and natural, past and present.
We work with Fáilte Ireland (the Irish Tourism Development Authority) to raise standards in visitor experience at Irish heritage attractions.
